Vivian B. Skelton, 94, of Terre Haute, formerly of Princeton, passed away Thursday, September 29, 2022 at her home. She was born on December 24, 1927 to the late Ralph and Rosa Greek. She resided at Westminster Village in Terre Haute where she was known as the “Puzzle Lady”. She was a member of Mt. Olive United Methodist Church in Mt. Olympus.
Vivian is survived by her children, Ralph Skelton (Karen), Michael Skelton (Darlene) and Deborah Hyneman (Allen); grandchildren, Christopher Skelton (Pamela), Julie Surdy (John), Laura David, Chad Skelton (Sherry), Nicholas Hyneman (Raven) and Melissa Newman (Brad); and great grandchildren, Chloe Skelton, Zachary Skelton, Codie Pullon, Bryce Pullon, Kaitlyn David, Carter Skelton, Kadance Hyneman, Clayton Hyneman and Aaron Newman.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband of 49 years, Jack W. Skelton, to whom she was married on April 17, 1949; and siblings, Betty Dosch, Ralph Greek, Jr. and Juanita Coomer.
A funeral service will be held at 2 pm on Sunday, October 2, 2022 at Colvin Funeral Home in Princeton. Burial will follow at Odd Fellows Cemetery in Princeton. Visitation will be from noon until 2 pm on Sunday at the funeral home.
