Vaden "Mike" Broshears Obituary

Vaden “Mike” Broshears, born June 26th, 1945 in Princeton, IN passed away on February 23rd, 2026 in his Spring Hill, FL home surrounded by family. He was a proud USAF veteran who served in Vietnam. He then went on to a successful career with Delta Airlines, beginning as a baggage handler and later retired as a manager of the Crown Room Club. He was a loud, funny, loving man who lived life to the fullest and would do anything for those he loved, he will be sorely missed.

He was preceded in death by his daughters, Michelle and Christine Broshears; his brothers, Don (JeriAnn), Charlie, and Van (JoAnn) Broshears; and his parents, Don and Edna Broshears.

He is survived by his wife Nancy; son, Scott Broshears;  Daughter-in-law, Laura Broshears; Brother, Gene (Mel) Broshears; Granddaughters, Alexis, Madison, Adrianna, and Taylor Broshears; Great-grandchildren Genavieve, Liam, and Brynlee; nieces, nephews; and many grand nieces and nephews.

He will be laid to rest in Walnut Hill cemetery. His life will be celebrated on April 11th at 3pm at the VFW in Fort Branch, IN. Please honor Mike by donating to the Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation or the American Diabetes Association.
