Tommy Dill, 75, of Princeton, passed away Tuesday, September 27, 2022 at home. He was born January 11, 1947 to the late Floyd and Hazel Dill. He served in the United States Navy. He worked as a mechanic and electrician at Amax, Solar and Peabody Coal Companies before retiring. He loved his friends and playing golf at the Country Club. He was a former baseball coach and enjoyed the St. Louis Cardinals.
Tommy is survived by his wife of 14 years, Tamara Dill; children, Eric Dill (Heather) and Andy Dill (Jamie) both of Evansville and Amanda Smith (Steve) of Princeton; grandchildren, Dalton Smith, Jordyn Banet, Lexi Brown and Owen Dill; siblings, Linda D. Riley, Wayne Dill, Lavonda Dougan, Claudia Dill and Rodney Dill all of Princeton and Marty Dill of Evansville; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; first wife, Charley N. (Brown) Dill in 1999; grandson, Oliver “Ollie” Dill; 2 infant siblings; and brother, Ronnie Dill.
A graveside service will be held at 2 pm on Friday, September 30, 2022 at Columbia White Church Cemetery with Pastor Gary Fair officiating. Military rites provided by Retired Military Veterans.
