Sheila Mae Denney

Sheila Mae Denney, 67, of Evansville, IN passed away Friday, March 27, 2026 at Park Terrace Village in Evansville, IN. She was born December 30, 1958 to Charles Jeffries and Elsie (Miley) Jeffries. Sheila was a long-time factory worker. She enjoyed writing poetry and children’s books. Sheila even had several published pieces of work to be proud of. She would express her artistic side by drawing, especially unicorns. Sheila had a special place in her heart for animals, especially cats and dogs. She loved her children and grandchildren, and would do anything for them.

Sheila was preceded in death by her parents; infant son, Christopher Hall; and 1 grandchild.

She is survived by her 4 children including Michael (Maggie Lynch) Dillon; brother, Michael Jeffries; and 8 grandchildren, including Keyonna Byrns and Aleek Lynch.

There will not be any service scheduled at this time per the families wishes. Colvin Funeral Home is honored to serve the Denney family.
