S. “Pat” Knight, 73, of Princeton, passed away on February 26, 2020 at Gibson General Hospital in Princeton. She was born on December 14, 1946 to the late Vern Price and Nina (Williams) Price in Princeton. She married Richard F. Knight on July 2, 1981 and they have been blessed with 38 years together. Pat worked at Hansen Corporation as a line worker for over 30 years. She was a member of Bethel Memorial Church and was a past member of the choir. She was a music lover and enjoyed her lunch dates with her high school friends. She loved her family, especially her grandchildren and enjoyed collecting McCoy cookie jars, Indian figurines, and eagles. She was dearly loved and will be missed by all who knew her.
Pat is survived by her loving husband, “Dickie” Knight; children, Rhonda (Kemer) Reinhart, Kathy (Jody) Starkey, Jenni (Bernie) Harrison, and Shelby Knight; grandchildren, Madison Coomer (Richard Deffendall), Tucker Krieg, Jackson Krieg, Shelby Tinsley, Kenny Harrison, and Sam Starkey; great-grandchildren, Stella Deffendall, Briggs Deffendall, Skylar Tinsley, and Rylan Tinsley; son-in-law, Robert Krieg; sisters-in-law, Brenda Price, Sharon (Roy) Brown, and Becky (Paul) McDaniel; many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Reina M. Krieg; brother, Michael Price; grandmother, Tina Price; and parents-in-law, Hester and Frank Knight.
A funeral service will be held at 11:30 AM Monday, March 2, 2020 at Colvin Funeral Home in Princeton with Pastor Kevin Wilson officiating. Burial will follow at Columbia White Church Cemetery in Princeton. A visitation will be held from 9:30 until service time, 11:30 AM Monday at the funeral home.
