Robert Cummings Obituary

Robert Earl Cummings, 80, of Princeton, passed away on Thursday, April 2, 2020 at his home in Princeton. He was born on October 14, 1939 in Madisonville, Kentucky to Robert Earl, Sr. and Athea (Gibson) Cummings. Robert served his country in the United States Army. He moved to the Princeton area 5 years ago from Kentucky and had formerly resided in Florida. He was retired from Kindle Enterprises in Fort Walton Beach, Florida where he was a construction supervisor. He was a St. Louis Cardinals baseball fan and enjoyed old western movies.

He is survived by his children, Timothy Cummings of Graham, KY and Amy Bingham (Tim) of Patoka; grandchildren, Michelle Hertel (Jake), Keith Garrett, Timothy Bingham and J.W. Bingham; several brothers and sisters; and several nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents; son, Terry Cummings; and stepmother, Minnie Cummings.

A private family service will be held at a later date. Colvin Funeral Home has been entrusted with arrangements.
