Richard “Dick” Roberson, 76, of Princeton, passed away Thursday, September 17, 2020 at home. He was born December 5, 1943 in Gibson County, IN. He had lived in Princeton most of his life. He went to machinist trade school and was a supervisor at Hansen Manufacturing in the Screw Machine Department. He enjoyed fishing, watching western movies, model trains and travel. He was a carpenter, auto mechanic and great cook. He was a former member of the Elks Lodge where he was active for many years.
Dick is survived by his wife, Becky (Weist) Roberson of Princeton; children, Richard “Robey” Roberson of Princeton, Josh Kealoha (Amanda) of Evansville, Alfredo Kealoha (Joann) of Williston, North Dakota; grandchildren, Jacob Q. Roberson (Valerie), Mason Roberson (Ashley) and Alex Roberson; brother, Bennie Lanman (Mary) of Princeton; and 12 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father, Delmar Roberson; mother Geneva (Seabaugh) Roberson Lanman; and grandchildren, Alvin and Dustin Roberson.
A funeral service will be held at 11 am on Monday, September 21, 2020 at Colvin Funeral Home in Princeton, with Jim Morrow officiating. Burial will follow at Maple Hill Cemetery in Princeton. Visitation will be on Sunday, September 20, 2020 from 4 until 7 pm at the funeral home.
