Mary Mayhall Obituary

Mary Alice Mayhall, 92, of Princeton, passed away Monday, June 13, 2022 at Heart to Heart Hospice Inpatient Center in Evansville. She was born July 19, 1929 in Belmont, Illinois to the late Walter and Alice (Wells) Morris and moved to Indiana in the 1960’s. She married Ervin D. Mayhall and he preceded her in death in 1989. Mary worked 33 years for Potter & Brumfield and was a member of McCullough Grove Baptist Church in Oakland City. She was a faithful Christian woman and enjoyed being a homebody. She was also a member of the Ladies VFW Auxiliary. Mary will be missed but her love will live on for generations.

Mary is survived by two grandsons, Zachary Mayhall (Lindsey) of Evansville and Kyle Mayhall (Kassandra Brown) of Evansville; great-grandchildren, Peyton Mayhall and Cooper Mayhall; niece, Vicki Witsman (Rudy); and daughter-in-law, Jennifer Mayhall.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; son, Aaron Mayhall; and brothers, Gene D. Morris and Lloyd V. Morris.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday, June 16, 2022 at Colvin Funeral Home in Princeton with Pastor Jake Robinson officiating. Interment will follow at Friendsville Cemetery in Friendsville, Illinois. A visitation will be held from 10 until 11:00 AM Thursday at the funeral home.
