Louis “Curtis” Thompson, 58, of Princeton, passed away on Wednesday, March 3, 2021 at Deaconess Gateway Hospital in Newburgh. He was born on June 2, 1962 in Ardmore, OK to the late Worlack and Patricia Thompson and had resided in Princeton since 1994, coming from California. Curtis was an Armored Truck Driver for Armored Transport Service of California for 15 years and Brinks Armored Transport Service for 4 years.
He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Brenda S. Thompson; daughters, Carrie (Joshua) McLain and Chandra (Tommy) Murray; grandkids, Dakota (Kaelyn), Austin (Paige), Dalton (Abby) and Shawnna Belcher, Cole, Cayslen and Ceara McLain and Jessica (Johnathon) Murray; great grandkids, Stella Belcher “Lil Bug” and Janson Vega; also, many nieces, nephews, family and friends.
A celebration of life service will be held at 1 pm on Saturday, March 6, 2021 at Colvin Funeral Home in Princeton. Interment will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery in Patoka. Visitation will be from 11 am until 1 pm on Saturday at the funeral home.
