Larry Joe Pauley, 80, of Princeton, passed away Wednesday, February 19, 2020 at Braun Nursing Home in Evansville. He was born on May 16, 1939 in Princeton to the late William Henry Miller Pauley II and Hazel Irene (Thompson) Pauley. Larry graduated with a bachelor’s degree from Indiana State University. He was self-employed and founded Ford Thompson Consulting where he was a passionate fundraiser for 30 years. He enjoyed buying and selling farm toys, watching sports, and spending time with his dogs. He was loved and will be missed by those who knew him.
Larry is survived by his sons, William Henry Miller Pauley III and wife, Patricia of Keymar, Maryland and Hans Karl Pauley and wife, Dr. Lynne Mayers of St. Petersburg, Florida; grandchildren, Jackson Gregory Pauley of Williamsburg, Virginia and Kennedy Sophie Pauley of St. Petersburg, Florida; aunt, Joan Eisle of Petersburg; and numerous cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents; fraternal grandparents, Joseph and Opha Pauley; and maternal grandparents, Hershel Thompson and Alda Sullivan.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM Friday, February 28, 2020 at Colvin Funeral Home in Princeton officiated by Reverend John Dunn. Inurnment will follow at Shiloh Cemetery near Hazleton. A gathering of family and friends will be held from 10 until service time, 11:00 AM at the funeral home.
