Larry Davis Obituary

Larry Melvin Davis, 81, of Princeton, passed away Saturday, May 2, 2020 at St. Vincent Rehabilitation in Evansville. He was born November 26, 1938 in Princeton and was raised by Kermit Floyd Wildt and Leona (Simmons) Wildt. Larry proudly served in the United States Navy and worked as a coal miner for a number of years. He married the love of his life, Eva M. (Miller) Davis November 10, 1997 and she preceded him in death on June 30, 2014. He loved lifting weights and body building. He had a deep love for animals, mowing his yard, and gardening. He enjoyed playing cards, spades, and playing pool. He was one of a kind and will be missed.   

Larry is survived by his half brothers, Michael Roy Wildt and Patrick Ray Wildt; and the best friends a guy could ask for, Don Ritchie, Ted Wright, and Russel Davis.

He is preceded in death by his parents and wife.

Services will be held privately.
