Judith “Judi” A. Drogich, 79, of Princeton, Indiana, passed away on August 3, 2026. She passed away peacefully, with family by her side, during her final days and hours.
Judi was born in Princeton, Indiana, on April 27, 1947, the daughter of the late Martha Jane and Lloyd “Shorty” Baker. She was a life-long resident of Princeton, Indiana. She graduated from Princeton High School in 1965. In her school years, Judi enjoyed participating in music, band and dance. After graduating high school, she attended Lockyear Business College, in Evansville, Indiana.
The majority of Judi’s career was spent working for Potter and Brumfield (later Siemens). She took great pride in the 32 years that she worked for the company. She would often reflect on her career, and enjoyed many enduring friendships from her time there.
One of the things Judi enjoyed most in life, included going on outings, or traveling, with her husband of 52 years, Charlie. The places they enjoyed visiting the most, were places where it is easy to immerse yourself in nature. They shared a very deep love of the mountains and the ocean, and travelled many times to both. Closer to home, they enjoyed visiting local natural areas, or nature preserves, especially when there was an opportunity to see migrating birds.
Judi cherished time with her granddaughter Cora. She loved watching her perform in musicals and plays. They shared a love of music, and Judi loved watching her granddaughter grow.
Judi enjoyed feeding the birds and squirrels in her back yard, as well as watching them from her kitchen window. This was a pastime of hers, and something she enjoyed doing for many, many years.
For the majority of her life, Judi enjoyed the companionship of a cat or dog. She provided a loving home, and greatly enjoyed their love and companionship. Many were like a member of the family to her.
Judi attended Fairview Church in Francisco, IN. She cherished the relationships that she had with her church family. She kept her church family in her thoughts and prayers, and would often share with her family how much she enjoyed being a part of Fairview.
Throughout her life, Judi loved her family and friends very much. During the time of her illness, she greatly appreciated it when friends contacted her, or visited her. While what she was going through was very difficult, it meant so much to receive a card, a phone call, or a visit from a friend.
Judi’s kind and caring spirit will be missed deeply by her family and friends.
Should friends or family wish to make a donation in memory of Judi, please pick the charity or cause of your choice.
Judi is preceded in death by her husband, Charles “Charlie” Drogich, her parents Lloyd “Shorty” Baker and Martha Jane Baker, and infant sister Susan Baker.
She is survived by her son, Brian (Amy) Drogich; granddaughter, Cora Drogich; sister, Pamela (Bruce) Coleman; nephew, Justin (Kami) Coleman; sister-in-law, Beverly (Tyk) Phillips; nephew, Chad Cornelius; and niece, Audra Boyd.
