John Wayne Wilson, II, 50, of Princeton, passed away Saturday, March 21, 2020 at Gibson General Hospital in Princeton. He was born in Washington on July 29, 1969 to parents, John Wayne Wilson and Brenda (Hedges) Hovis. He enjoyed hunting especially for deer and was an outdoors man. He loved his guns and knives and being a collector of baseball cards, beer cans, and hot wheels. He loved his kids dearly and his greatest joy in life was being a father. He was loved by many and will be dearly missed.
John is survived by his wife, Kristina Elaine Wilson of Princeton; mother, Brenda (Jim) Hovis of Evansville; children, Colton Wilson, Darion Wilson, and Callie J. Wilson; step-son, Jersalem Howard; siblings, Teresa Garland of Winslow, Shane Wilson of Illinois, Jarold Whittington of Newburgh, and Tracy Nall of Noblesville; special cousins, Misty Wiggs, Stacy James, all of Oakland City; friends, Dennis Atkins and Jody Wade; and the mother of his child, Michelle Wilson.
He was preceded in death by his father; daughter, Laura Wilson; and sister, Tonya Wilson; and both maternal and paternal grandparents.
There will be no services at this time.
