John Potts Obituary

John Potts, 57, of Princeton, passed away on Thursday, May 20, 2021. He was born on July 22, 1964 in Washington, IN to Robert and Donna (Barber) Potts. He was a member of Local 136 Pipefitters Union, a Journeyman pipefitter and Journeyman sheet metal worker, working in the industry for 30 years. He attended St. Joseph Catholic Church in Princeton. He was a true outdoorsman who enjoyed all types of hunting. He also loved to ride his Harley.

John is survived by his parents; children, Zackery Potts (Bailey), Jacob Potts, and Megan Potts; brother, Duane Potts (Tricia); grandchildren, Isabella Potts, Brynlee Fagan, Nova Potts, and Sutherlyn Potts; significant other, Pamela Stocker; and nieces, Kelsey and Kayla Potts.

He was preceded in death by his paternal and maternal grandparents.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, May 26, 2021 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Princeton with Father Gary Keiser as celebrant. Burial will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery of Reeve Township in Washington, Indiana. Visitation will be from 8:30 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday at Colvin Funeral Home in Princeton.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Joseph Catholic Church, 410 S. Race St., Princeton, IN 47670.
