Jo Anne Collins, 93, of Princeton, passed away Thursday, April 29, 2021 at RiverOaks Assisted Living Campus in Princeton. She was born on December 1, 1927 in Jackson, Ohio to Howard and Helen (Exline) Trace. She lived in Princeton most of her life after moving from Ohio. She was a district manager for Avon. She was a member of the Eagles Auxiliary where she was past president. She was also an avid bridge player and loved ballroom dancing.
Jo Anne is survived by her daughters, Denise Hull (Cody) of Princeton and Melinda Boelter (Dean) of Ft. Myers, FL; grandchild, Matthew Heldt (Leah); great grandchildren, Louden & Leyton Heldt; and daughter-in-law, Vivian “Pepper” Collins of Princeton.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Merlin Collins, Sr. in 2002; son, Merlin Collins, Jr.; and grandson, Ryan Collins.
Private graveside services will be held at Columbia White Church Cemetery in Princeton with burial following. Colvin Funeral Home in Princeton has been entrusted with arrangements.
