Jane Kendle Obituary

Jane Ellen Kendle, 80, of Francisco, IN passed away November 27, 2022. She was born in Griffin, IN July 5, 1942 to the late Carl Vertis Sharp and Mary Ruth (Ricker) Warren. Jane attended and graduated from Griffin High School. She worked in the blasting crew at Old Ben Two for 30 years. Jane married the love of her life, Paul D. Kendle, and was blessed with 60 years of marriage before his passing in 2019. She loved to quilt and was a member of several sewing and quilting groups including Home spun quilting club of Mt. Carmel. Jane also enjoyed crafting and making ceramics.

She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Loretta Sharp, and husband Paul D. Kendle.

Jane is survived by her children Paul (Jayne) Kendle Jr., Jeffrey (Gina) Kendle, and Rodney (Tina Marie) Kendle; grandchildren Lindsey Gruber, Justin Michael Kendle, Wesley Kendle, Amanda Smith, Zach Kendle, Cody Kendle, Dennis Kendle, Michael Creel, and Amber McGee; 19 great-grandchildren; and sisters Joy (John) Straw and Judy (William) Christmas.

A funeral service will be 12 p.m. Wednesday, November 30, 2022 at the Colvin Funeral Home in Princeton. Burial will follow in Columbia White Church Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10 a.m until the service time at the funeral home.
