James Rector, 90, of Princeton, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, May 2, 2020. He was born February 19, 1930 in Livermore, Kentucky.
He is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Margaret; daughters, Connie Ulishney and Cheryl Spore; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his son, David Pollock; mother, Elsie Neidlinger; and grandmother, Katherine Youngson.
He enjoyed spending time at home with his family, Kentucky basketball, and Cardinals baseball. He was a very hard worker and kindhearted to everyone he met. Some of his most unique qualities were his empathy, compassion, and willingness to help everyone he encountered. His words of encouragement impacted so many lives. He left a legacy of kindness, loyalty, and love. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Due to the restrictions of COVID-19 private services will be held. Colvin Funeral Home in Princeton has been entrusted with arrangements.
