Jackie "Jack" Beasley Obituary

Jackie L. “Jack” Beasley, 68 of Franciso passed away Thursday, February 26, 2026 at his home.  He was born in Princeton May 3, 1957 to Cecil and Dolores (Hicks) Beasley.

Jack lived in Francisco for the past 30 years.  He retired from the Gibson Highway Department where he worked for 44 years as a truck driver, heavy equipment operator, and on the bridge crew. He was a member of the Teamsters Union, and Oakland City Country Club, enjoyed working, playing golf, gardening, raising vegetables, and flowers.

Jack is survived by his wife, Karen Beasley of Francisco; father, Cecil Beasley of Francisco; son, Joshua Beasley (Julia) of Florida; grandchildren, Adam and Alex Beasley; siblings, Cecilia Crawford (Doug) of Princeton, Stephen Michael Beasley of Kansas, and Mary Ann Bailey of Columbus, IN; several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Dolores Beasley, and an infant brother, Tommy Ray Beasley.

A funeral service will be held 12 p.m. Tuesday, March 3, 2026 at the Colvin Funeral Home in Princeton, with Pastor Kevin Wilson officiating. Burial will follow in the Forsythe Cemetery near Oakland City.  Visitation will be held Tuesday from 10 a.m. until 12 p.m. at the funeral home.
