Izola B. Kinser, 92, of Princeton, passed away Saturday, July 31, 2021 at home. She was born on July 20, 1929 in Evansville to Albert W. and Cora (Matsel) Rankin. She graduated from St. Mary’s School of Nursing in 1950. She married her husband, William E. Kinser on January 11, 1952. She worked in Chicago during the polio epidemic as an R.N. and later in Florida and at St. Mary’s Hospital in Evansville. She also helped her husband with bookwork for Kinser Alignment. She was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses.
Izola is survived by her children, Teresa Lagneau (Bruce) of Princeton, Albert Kinser (Carolyn Sue) of Princeton and Pam Collins (Mark) of Francisco; grandchildren, Melissa Harris, Joleen Lagneau, Chris Gentry (Amanda), Jered Gentry (Jamie) and Lisa Kinser; sister, Coaina Rosenbury of New Albany; and sister-in-law, Shirley Kelly of Bloomfield.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, William in 1999; daughter, Janet L. Kinser; and several brothers and sisters.
A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, August 6, 2021 at Colvin Funeral Home in Princeton, officiated by Pastor Jim Saunders. Burial will follow at Maple Hill Cemetery in Princeton. A visitation will be held on Friday at the funeral home from 11 a.m. until service time.
