Howard Seth Aders, 93 of Princeton, Indiana, passed away on Wed., Nov. 18, 2020, at Solarbron Terrace from COVID-19.
He is survived by his wife of 68 years, Ethel Mae (Lewis); daughter, Debra (Dennis) Eckert; son, Mark Aders; grandchildren, Audrie Aders Manzi, Heath and Jared Eckert; and seven great grandchildren.
He worked at Potter and Brumfield and obtained his dream of retiring at 55. He served 2 times in the Army, World War II and Korean War. He spent his retirement years fishing, learning and teaching short wave radio communication, volunteering in the Coast Guard Auxiliary, American Red Cross and working Heritage Days in Princeton.
Until COVID began to win the battle, his daily focus the past 14 months was taking care of his beloved wife. He loved the times his family was together and almost always remarked with a fist pump “Another one for the record”.
The family expresses their gratitude to the staff of Solarbron Terrace for supporting him with kindness, compassion, and care to be with his wife the past 3 1/2 months.
Memorial service will be held at a later date.
