Harold Perry Obituary

Harold Lee Perry, 80, of Keensburg, IL, and formerly of Mt. Carmel, passed away on Sunday, July 25, 2021 at home. He was born on July 22, 1941 in St. Charles, Missouri to Harry Joseph and Lerona (Griffith) Perry. He served in the United States Army during the Vietnam Era and also in the U.S. Coast Guard. He had worked at Whirlpool. He was a member of the American Legion in Mt. Carmel. He was a collector of model trains.

He is survived by his children, Kevin Perry (Linda) of Oakland City and Diana Smith (Steve) of Mt. Erie, IL; siblings, John Perry of Missouri, Allen Perry of Colorado, Joanna Kliethermas, Eddie Perry and Lerona Henley, all of Missouri; 6 grandchildren; and 14 great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Joyce Perry; and 3 grandchildren.

Private services will be held. Corn-Colvin Funeral Home in Oakland City has been entrusted with arrangements.
