Gina G. Wilhite

Gina G. Wilhite, 69, of Oakland City passed away Friday, February  20, 2026 at Ascension St. Vincent Hospital in Evansville.  She was born May 22, 1956 in Princeton to Dale and Joy Anne (Gentry) Wilhite.   

Gina had lived in Gibson County most of her life.  She graduated from Wood Memorial High School in 1974, attended U.S.I. and U. of E. and received two Bachelor’s Degree.  Gina enjoyed reading her Bible, painting, raising flowers, spending time with her nieces and nephews, and especially her dog Glory.

She is survived by her brother, Kerry Wilhite (Barb); sister, Stephanie Thompson (Tim); nieces and nephews, Tiffany Hamilton (Charles), Makaylee Long (Chris), Jacob Brown, Kira Morgan (Justin), Keely Edwards (Lincoln); great nieces and nephews, Oliver, Madison, Meredith and Mary Hamilton, Emalynn and Braylee Long, Bentlee and Kynlee Brown, Raylan Morgan, Draper and Parker Edwards; and her dog Glory.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and brother-in-law, David Brown.

There will be no visitation or service at this time. The Colvin Funeral Home in Princeton is handling the arrangements and is honored to serve Gina’s family.
