Francis “Bill” William Perry Jr., 54, of Oakland City, IN passed away September 27, 2022. He was born in Zanesville, OH to the late Francis William Perry Sr. and Rita Stoneburner. Bill earned his associates degree in mathematics. He worked as a supervisor at Millennium Steel since 2020. Bill was a member of the Volunteer Fire Department in Winslow, was an EMT for Pike Co First Responders, and member of Region 13 ABATE. He enjoyed spending time riding motorcycles, working on cars, shooting guns, drinking Prairie Farm sweet tea, and most importantly spending time with his children and grandchildren.
Bill was preceded in death by his parents; children, Samuel, Matthew, and Maria Perry; and grandson, Ryan Perry.
He is survived by his children, Jessica Perry, Kaitlyn Melvin, Samantha Perry, Courtney Perry, Carlie Perry, Cassidy Perry, Riley Perry, and Dakota James; grandchildren, AJ, Elizabeth Jane, Owan Layne, and Adrianna Melvin; siblings, Dave Renner, Ginger Perry, Glenna Fultcher, Rebecca Braglin, Marion James “MJ”, Josiah Braglin, Ike Braglin and Norman Swope; niece, Gracie; nephews, PJ and Toby; many cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
A memorial celebration of life will be held at 3:00 PM Sunday, October 9, 2022 at Corn - Colvin Funeral Home in Oakland City with Military Honors. A gathering of family and friends will be held from 1 until 3 at the funeral home Sunday.
