Dorothy Hadley Obituary

Dorothy M. Hadley, 97, of Princeton, passed away Wednesday, December 30, 2020 at River Oaks Health Campus in Princeton. She was born March 10, 1923 in Princeton to the late Roger Townsend and Florence (Hunter) Townsend. She was a homemaker and had worked at Potter and Brumfield. Her grandfather was the first minister of the Fairview Presbyterian Church. She was dearly loved and will be missed beyond measure.

Dorothy is survived by her son, Gary Hadley of Evansville.

She was preceded by her parents; husband, George A. Hadley; children, Rick Hadley, Steve Hadley, and Jeff Hadley; sisters, Hazel Markee, Mary Elizabeth Cross and Florence Hil; and brother, Roger Dean Townsend

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, January 9, 2021 at Fairview Cemetery with Reverend Mark Holland officiating and burial to follow. Due to COVID-19 regulations, the number of people at the gathering is limited to 25 people. Social distancing and masks are required.
