Donald "Don" Hyneman

Donald “Don” Hyneman, 81, of Oakland City, passed away on Thursday, November 19, 2020 at Transcendent Healthcare in Owensville. He was born on December 5, 1938 in Princeton to Russell and Marie Hyneman. Don was a retired railroad worker. He enjoyed spending time at home with his “special” kitties and was especially proud of his granddaughter, Meghan who was honored to be able to take care of him at Transcendent.

He is survived by three daughters, Stacy Russell and Shana Hyneman of Princeton and Cathy Fleming (Mark) of Patoka; 5 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; and two sisters, Doris Glover of Owensville and Mary Lou Bechtler of New Jersey.

There will be no visitation at this time and a private family ceremony will be held at a later date.

The family would like to extend a grateful appreciation to all the employees at Transcendent who tirelessly took care of him up until his death.
