Dixie L. (Church) Muncy

Dixie L. Muncy, 81, of Princeton, passed away Tuesday, March 31, 2020 at her home. She was born April 4, 1938 in Oakland City to Floyd and Norma (Wood) Church and moved to Princeton in 1966. She formerly worked for Potter & Brumfield in Princeton and then North Gibson School Corporation as a secretary, librarian and teacher’s aide for over 20 years. She enjoyed sewing, quilting, crafting and cooking. Dixie was a member of First General Baptist Church in Princeton.

She is survived by her husband, Gary Muncy of Princeton; children, Pam Robb of Princeton and Todd Muncy (Tami) of Francisco; granddaughters, Tori Muncy and Kaitlyn Robb; grandson, Drew Robb; brother, Tom Church (Kay) of Ruston, Louisiana; several brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law and nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Floyd Church, Jr.

A private graveside service will be held at Mt. Olive Cemetery in Mt. Olympus with Pastor Brad Keenan officiating. Burial will follow. Colvin Funeral Home in Princeton has been entrusted with the arrangements.
