Denise Renee (Eaton, Mayer) Beasley passed peacefully from this life into the arms of her heavenly father, Jesus Christ, on July 24, 2021 in Dickson, Tennessee. Denise was born September 3, 1964 in Princeton, Indiana to William Allen and Helen Eaton. She graduated from Princeton Community High School in 1982 and later from Vincennes College as an R.N. Denise continued her training after graduating and became a C.C.R.N. She worked as a nurse’s aide at GGH while going to school and later as an R.N. at Deaconess and Welborn Hospitals in Evansville; Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis; a hospital in Clarksville, Tennessee; and finally at Horizon in Dickson before starting to work as a traveling nurse in Kentucky, Tennessee and even at St. Mary’s in Evansville. Denise loved her work and caring for her patients.
Denise is survived by her husband, Mark Beasley; father, William (W.A.) Eaton; son, Jordon Mayer of Dickson, Tennessee; mother and stepfather, Helen and C.L. (Mitch) Mitchell, son, Jeramy and wife, Brianna Eaton and step-grandmother, Gladys Mitchell, all of Princeton; four grandchildren; and several aunts, uncles and cousins. Denise will be greatly missed and will be remembered as a loving daughter, mother and wife. Denise did things for people we will never know about but the ones she cared for and helped will remember.
Preceding Denise in death were her brother, Dennis Ray Eaton on July 24, 1966; grandparents, Almon and Dorothy Christmas; step-grandfather, Clyde Mitchell; aunts, Janis Christmas of Princeton, Genevieve Wade of Owensville; and uncles, Harry Christmas of Princeton and James Wade of Owensville.
Visitation will be from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, August 1, 2021 at Colvin Funeral Home in Princeton followed with services at 2:00 p.m. and burial at Walnut Hill Cemetery in Fort Branch, IN. Pastor Kevin Wilson from Bethel Memorial Church will officiate the services. The family requests casual dress.
