Darvin Cloin Sr. Obituary

Darvin E. Cloin Sr. 75 of Princeton, passed away Saturday, April 4, 2020 at the home of his son.  He was born in Princeton, June 19, 1944 to Paul and Helen (Fortner) Cloin.

Darvin was a retired Railroad Conductor working for the Southern Railroad.  He was a U.S. Navy veteran serving during the Vietnam Era.  He had lived in Princeton all of his life.

He is survived by a son, Darvin Cloin Jr. (Shannon) of Princeton; 3 grandchildren, Daeli Yalcin (Eray), Drake Cloin (Whitney) and Sky Cloin; 1 great-grandson Nolan Yalcin; brother, Paul Cloin (Janie) of Princeton.

Darvin was preceded in death by his parents; wife Pamela J. Cloin in 2001 and daughter, Dawn M. Sneed in 2006.

Private funeral services will be held at the graveside in the Fairview Cemetery near Princeton, with Donnie Truelock officiating. Burial will follow the services. Colvin Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
