Carole Sisson, 90, of Princeton, IN passed away Saturday, September 16, 2023 at River Oaks Heath Campus in Princeton. She was born November 14, 1932 in Princeton, IN to the late Ival Glenn Dyson and Wyoma Eloise (Forthman) Dyson.
Carole married Roy Allen Sisson, June 23, 1950 and was blessed with 49 years of marriage before his passing in 1999. She had lived in Princeton most of her life, owned and operated her own craft shop for 7 years, and had owned a Budget Video Store in Washington, IN. Carole would go to the Gibson County Fair where she would give craft making lessons and sell her craft items. She was a member of Columbia General Baptist Church in Princeton and had been a former Boy Scouts den mother. She will be missed by many.
Carole is survived by her children, Brenda Vantlin, James Sisson, and Jeffrey Sisson; grandchildren, Dionna Szewczak, Dan Szewczak, Melodie Snow, Jeffrey Sisson Jr., Jessica Sisson, Justin Sisson, Jaren Sisson, Shelby Sisson, Johnny Sisson, Chelsea Vantlin, and Jake Vantlin; great grandchildren, Jack Sisson, Emily Vantlin, Allison Vantlin, Jace Vantlin, and Danny Szewczak; sisters, Vicki Franks and Joanne Lloyd.
There will be no visitation or service at this time. Colvin Funeral Home in Princeton has been entrusted with the arrangements.
