Carol Jean (Shoultz) Weist

Carol Jean Weist, 90, of Princeton, passed away on February 24, 2021 in Princeton, Indiana at RiverOaks Health Campus.

Carol was born to George Lennis Shoultz and Ila Marie (Masters) Shoultz on October 4, 1930. She graduated from Mt. Olympus in 1948. She worked at Potter and Brumfield/Siemens, retiring in 1992 after 41 years of service.

Carol is survived by her sister, Betty Kendall; nieces/caregivers, Shelby Turner and Vicki Chandler; nephew, Keith Kendall; niece, Suzie Williamson; many other nieces and nephews; great nieces and nephews; great-great nieces and nephews; and great-great-great nieces and nephews and several cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Barney L. Weist in 1991 and to whom she was married on June 30, 1951; daughter, Debbie Weist in 1992; and brothers, Adrian, Gearl and George Shoultz.

A special “Thank You” to RiverOaks Health Campus and Southern Care Hospice for their care and compassion.

A graveside service will be held at 2 pm Tuesday on March 2, 2021 at Mt. Olive Cemetery in Mt. Olympus, with Rev. Gary Watson officiating. Interment will follow.
