Carol Redfairn Obituary

Carol Jean Redfairn, 79, of Hazleton, passed away on Monday, September 14, 2020 at Union Hospital in Terre Haute. She was born January 7, 1941 in Rector, Arkansas to the late James V. Redfairn and Cletta B. (Gunn) Redfairn. She lived in Hazleton since 1943 and attended Hazleton United Methodist Church. Carol was the family historian and remembered everyone’s anniversaries and birthdays.

Carol is survived by her brothers, William “W.C.” Redfairn of Evansville, and Leroy and David Redfairn, both of Hazleton; sister, Linda Warner of Paris, Illinois; aunts, Lettie Blaize of Princeton, Mary (Ralph) Featherstone of Rector, Arkansas, and Wanda Jones of Rector, Arkansas; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents and best friend, Patty Reinhart.

A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, September 17, 2020 at Colvin Funeral Home in Princeton, officiated by Evelyn Owens. A visitation will be held from 11 a.m. Thursday, until service time at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Shiloh Cemetery near Hazleton.
