Abigail Goldbach Obituary

Abigail Sue Goldbach, 40, of Princeton, Indiana, passed away on Wednesday, December 1, 2021 at Gibson General Hospital in Princeton. Abby was born June 22, 1981 in Princeton to Kenny Goldbach and Beth Selby. Abby loved her Catholic faith and was a lifelong member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. She loved praying the rosary daily.

Abby graduated from Princeton Community High School in 1999. Immediately after graduation Abby’s adventurous nature landed her a flight attendant career with Northwest Airlines where she was able to visit places she wanted to see. Abby decided she wanted to pursue college and attended Vincennes University graduating Cum Laude with a degree in Applied Science/Computer Networking in 2004. Abby accepted a position with Dell Computer in Nashville, Tennessee where she would help people with their computer problems. Although Abby loved the city life of Nashville, she longed for the warmer weather and beautiful beaches of Florida and in 2005 decided to pack up her car and head to Destin, Florida where she loved vacationing with family. While living in Destin with her best friend Debbie Wright, Abby successfully completed the Florida real estate program and obtained her license. Abby always said living in Florida was like being on vacation everyday which prompted her to accept a position with Wyndham Destinations. She excelled in their vacation ownership program. This is where Abby shined. She loved meeting people from all over the world helping them with their vacation plans and seeing the happiness she brought to their lives. They loved her dynamic personality and unforgettable smile.

Abby loved the ocean, boating and fishing with her friends. She loved fishing in the Destin Rodeos and won “Best African Pompono” in 2015. She also loved being in the woods, camping and making fires and s’mores. Most of all she loved God, her family and friends with her whole heart. She lived for making precious memories with her family, especially her nieces and nephews who adored Aunt Abby. She never met a stranger. She will be missed by so many but never forgotten because she brought so much of herself to so many.

Abby is survived by her mother and stepfather, Beth and Bob Selby; her father and stepmother, Kenny and Robin Goldbach; grandparents, Charles and Jo Ann Goldbach, Gloria Kranitz, Larry and Patti Scott; sister, Kristin Marceaux (Jason); brothers, Chase Goldbach (Kim) and Austin Clark; stepsisters, Whitney Ziebell (Jon) and Makaylin Selby; nieces and nephews, Olivia (her Goddaughter), Ethan and Emma Marceaux, Vincent and Lilly Goldbach, Cade, Kinsley and Cohen Ziebell; her lifelong friend and cousin, Danielle Scott; many aunts, uncles and cousins; and her cat, Lucky.

Abby was preceded in death by her uncle, Matt Goldbach; cousin, Jeff Goldbach; grandmother, Sue Scott; grandfather, Robert Kranitz; and her great grandparents.
