Wanda Jean Mutchman, 90, passed away December 3, 2019 at the home of her daughter in Fort Mahava, AZ. She was born May 18, 1929 in rural Patoka to the late, Eldon and Nora (Speight) Marvell and then she lived in Buckskin. She attended Mackey School. She was a member of St. John's Church of Buckskin. She married Henry Mutchman on June 23, 1946. She worked at Princeton Telephone Company as a switchboard operator and also at St. Mary's Hospital.
She is survived by 1 daughter, Betty Fobes of Fort Mahava, AZ; 1 son, Eldon Mutchman (Jennifer) of Buckskin; 4 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild; 3 sisters, Josephine Caskey, Carolyn Ellerbrook and Lucille Pauley; and many nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Henry Mutchman; 3 sisters, Mary Esarey, Martha Trader and Elnora Sollman; and 4 brothers, Frank, Grover, Ray and Charles Marvell.
A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, December 21, 2019 at Corn-Colvin Funeral Home in Oakland City, officiated by Pastor Gene Burkhart. Burial will be in St. Johns Cemetery in Buckskin, IN. Corn-Colvin Funeral Home is handling arrangements and is honored to serve the Mutchman family.
