Thomas Lashbrook, 90, of Princeton, passed away Friday, February 15, 2019 at Gibson General Hospital in Princeton. He was born April 21, 1928 to the late Herman Wells and Jeanetta Ruth (Ivy) Lashbrook in Hatfield, Indiana. He was a member of Francisco United Methodist Church, formerly of the Francisco Saddle Club, and multiple saddle clubs in South West Indiana and Illinois. He loved being outdoors, camping, horse riding, farming, rabbit and squirrel hunting, and was a well-known camper at High Knob Camp Ground, Shawnee National Forest. Thomas was a farmer and owner of Tom's Saddlery for 21 years. He worked for 28 years at Emge Packing Company in Fort Branch. Thomas was a great father and enjoyed a good laugh. He enjoyed playing his guitar and singing. Thomas was loved and will be missed by all who knew him.
Thomas is survived by his children, Suetta Loesch (Richard), Ann Ice (Michael), Roger Lashbrook (Rexene), Daniel Lashbrook, and Tim Lashbrook (Renée); step-daughter, Melody Embry (Roger); 13 grandchildren; 37 great-grandchildren; and 8 great-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; first wife, Annamae Lashbrook; second wife, Mildred “Neoma” Lashbrook; sons, Wayne Lashbrook and Donald Lashbrook; and 6 siblings.
A funeral service will be held at 10:00 am on Monday, February 18, 2019 at Colvin Funeral Home in Princeton, with Pastor Rick Lance officiating. Burial will follow at Columbia White Church Cemetery in Princeton. Visitation will be from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm on Sunday, February 17th at Colvin Funeral Home.
