Tammy Fetcher Obituary

Tammy Sue (Tolbert) Fetcher, 61, of Hazleton, passed away Wednesday, October 30, 2019 at Good Samaritan Hospital in Vincennes. She was born April 28, 1958 in Princeton, Indiana. She lived in Hazleton all her life and was a member of Hazleton United Methodist Church. She was a housekeeper at Gibson General Hospital. She formerly worked at Siemens in Princeton and at the Gibson County Jail.

Tammy is survived by her sister, Beverly Belcher of Hazleton; her companion of many years, Charles Smith and his children, Todd Edward Smith, Chad Allen Smith and Amy Hyneman (who were like her children) and his grandchildren (that were like her own); also several cousins, 3 aunts and 1 uncle.

She was preceded in death by her father and mother, “Boots” Tolbert and Ruth (Ice) Tolbert Ellis; son, Michael Fetcher; and an infant brother, Kim Tolbert.

A graveside service will be held at 1 pm Saturday, November 2, 2019 at Hazleton Community Cemetery, with Pastor Gary Arnold and Pastor Sam Polito officiating. Colvin Funeral Home in Princeton is in charge of arrangements and is honored to serve the Fetcher family.
