Karen Muncy Obituary

Karen J. Muncy, 73, passed away Monday, December 3, 2018 at River Oaks Health Campus in Princeton. She was born February 28, 1945 in Evansville to the late Bernard and Marthalene (Purkiser) McCallister. As a young lady she was in Rainbow for Girls and 4-H. She attended elementary school in Hazleton and graduated from Mount Olympus High School in 1963. She worked on the family farm and ladies quilted at her home.

Karen is survived by her husband of 57 years, Joe Muncy of Francisco; 2 children, Sam Muncy (Neely) of Francisco and Shannon Brewington (Jesse) of Glenallen, MO; 5 grandchildren, Kirsten McIntyre, Kjeristy Brewington, Ethan Muncy (Hannah), Elijah Muncy and Morgan Brewington; 1 great grandson, Declan Danger McIntyre.

At this time there will be no visitation or service. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
