Ethel M. Conley,96 of Princeton passed away Thursday Nov. 7, 2019 at Gibson General Hospital in Princeton. She was born January 1, 1923 in Otwell, IN to Herschel and Monta Marie (Hayes) Sullivan. She was a retired Precision Inspector at Potter and Brumfield in Princeton where she worked for 33 years.
Ethel had lived in Princeton since 1963 moving here from Oakland City. She attended the Francisco United Methodist Church. She was an active Red Cross Volunteer for many years. She was a member of the V.F.W. Ladies Auxiliary, Young at Heart in Oakland City, and the White Shrine in Evansville.
She is survived by 2 grandsons, Nick Hallinan Jr. (Debbie) of Camarillo, CA, Sean Hallinan (Robin) of Waukee, IA; granddaughter, Angela Lynn Dickerson (Dave) of Albuquerque, NM; sister Olivia G. McCool of Lafayette, IN; 8 great grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren; several nieces nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, John “Mo” Conley in 1986; daughter, Linda Conley Dunbar, March 30, 2019; sisters, Dora Lee Sullivan, Barbara Judith Sullivan and Phyllis Rose Harper; brother, Dennis Sullivan.
Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Wednesday Nov. 13, 2019 at the Colvin Funeral Home in Princeton with Rev. Rick Lance officiating. Burial will follow in the Otwell Cemetery in Otwell, IN. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. on Wednesday at the Colvin Funeral Home.
