Erica Christine Richey

Our loving daughter Erica Christine Richey went to her heavenly home early Saturday, March 16, 2019 at the age of 30 years old, surrounded by our family in Bowling Green, KY. She is the daughter of Kimberly and Joseph Richey formerly of Princeton, IN. She is the oldest of 3 daughters. Erica is survived by her parents and her two younger sisters, Mikayela and Alexis, her grandparents, Steve and Tina Riley and Ellen Richey and many loving aunts, uncles and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her grandfather Gerald Richey Sr., grandmother Sandra Riley, great grandparents Marguerite and Alvie Stewart, great grandparents Edsel and Jean Riley and her service dog Ella.

Erica was born in Princeton, IN on May 3, 1988 and accomplished so many great and amazing things in her short life. She graduated from University of Phoenix with her Associates Degree in Finance and she was four classes away from gaining her Bachelor’s Degree with a 4.0 GPA all while battling continuous health problems. With her infectious laugh and beautiful smile, she was a bright spot in every person’s life she touched. She will forever be held with love in our hearts.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 19, 2019 at Colvin Funeral Home in Princeton, IN from 4-8 pm. Funeral Service will be held Wednesday, March 20, 2019 at 10 am at Colvin Funeral Home, officiated by Pastor Tony Hodgson. Burial will follow in Columbia White Church Cemetery. Please join us in celebrating this beautiful young woman’s life.
