Karen Sue (Murray) Pierce, 56 of Otwell entered peacefully into rest on Wednesday, November 23, 2016 at her home. She was born Oct. 27, 1960 to Randall Lee and Shelby Jean (Joyce) Murray. She worked many years in several nursing homes as a caregiver. Karen is survived by 2 sisters and brothers-in-law, Kathy and Donald Hayes and Andrea and Donnie Sutt, both of Winslow. She was preceded in death by a son Matthew, her parents and her sister Kim Murray. Karen loved her cat “Winston”. She enjoyed spending every Sunday with her sisters and her nephew Lee and being at any family gatherings. She enjoyed going out to eat with her cousin, Dakota and loved being around her great nieces and nephew, Cheyanna, William and Rylee. Karen had a zest for life and was ready to help at the drop of a hat. We’re sure that Karen, Kim and Mom are all up in Heaven, rolling the dice and calling “Yahtzee”. There will be no visitation or services. Burial will be at a later date at the Oak Hill Cemetery in Winslow. The Corn-Colvin Funeral Home in Oakland City has been entrusted with the arrangements.
