Genevieve Mary “Jenny” Reneer, 87, of Princeton, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 21, 2017 at her home. She was born March 14, 1930 in St. Wendel, IN to Charles and Josephine (Will) Martin, the youngest of 10 children. She was married to James Reneer of Princeton and had 9 children and 16 grandchildren. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church of Princeton. She also was a member of the Daughters of Isabella and VFW Ladies Auxiliary. She was a homemaker and ran a daycare for several years. She enjoyed playing bingo and playing card games, especially rummy and clabber. She enjoyed traveling and loved her family and enjoyed giving all she had to her family, never missing a birthday. She is survived by her 8 children, Judy Robertson, Stanley Reneer, Debbie Reneer, Janet Perry (Jack), Charlie Reneer (Julie), Joan Reneer, Lisa Douglas (Eric) and Jimmy Reneer (Kathyrn); 16 grandchildren, April (Robertson) Newlin, Allen Robertson, Ashley (Dyer) Monroe, Calin Dyer, Kaley Tooley, Tiffany Tooley, Calvin Reneer, Dezmond Reneer, Zachary Reneer, Kolton Reneer, Jordan Parker, Nick Parker, Hannah (Parker) Hartman, Alexis Parker, Mackenzie Douglas and Emma Douglas; 9 great grandchildren; and a brother, Ted Martin (Glenda). She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, James Reneer; daughter Kathleen Reneer; and 9 siblings. A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 10 am on Saturday, March 25, 2017 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Princeton, with Father Brian Emmick celebrant. Burial will be in the St. Joseph Cemetery in Princeton. Visitation will be from 4-8 pm on Friday and from 8-9:30 am on Saturday at the Colvin Funeral Home in Princeton, followed by a procession to the church for services. A prayer service will be held on Friday evening at 7:30 pm at the funeral home. The Reneer family would like to thank you for the love and support you have shown at this difficult time.
